For a legal client, the Nova team conducted due diligence at six active and closed RCRA Corrective Action sites across the United States. The project was conducted over a period of one month and required extensive environment`al and regulatory experience to evaluate the complex industrial sites. Extensive soil, air and groundwater impact issues were assessed at sites in California, Maryland, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and Illinois. The potential liabilities associated with these issues were established and evaluated. This environmental due diligence assessment project was finished on time and within budget and the transaction was completed by the client.
For a regional grocery store chain, the Nova team has conducted a series of Phase I and Phase II ESAs. The grocery store chain is expanding rapidly and in the process is acquiring and refurbishing infill properties across Southern California. Services provided have included the assessment of former automotive repair facilities, asbestos surveys, and LBP surveys.

The company owns and operates a regional shopping center in Orange County where groundwater has been impacted by PCE and breakdown products related to a significant dry cleaning operation. Nova is interacting with the California Regional Water Quality Control Board to facilitate eventual closure of the site.
