Asbestos. Nova provides asbestos surveys for building operators on a regular basis with our qualified CACs and support personnel. These surveys can include both bulk sampling and air sampling. If abatement is required, Nova can provide project design and abatement oversight.
Lead. Nova can provide assessments of lead dust and lead-based paints in buildings. Our qualified personnel can also design and monitor abatement projects.
Mold. Nova personnel have a wealth of experience conducting mold/fungal assessments. We also conduct abatement design, abatement monitoring and clearance testing.
Radon gas. Nova is certified to conduct radon assessments in buildings. Radon gas is a radioactive element that can cause cancer. It is often trapped in homes and occupants are typically unaware of the hazard. If radon is present, Nova will work with contractors to resolve the issue and provide clearance testing upon completion of the remedial efforts.
Chemical Exposure. The Nova team has evaluated various workplace contaminants to assist industry with employee protection. We have been called upon to conduct personal and ambient air testing and also to review Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDSs) to assess chemical hazards.
Biological Agent Assessment. Nova can evaluate biological contamination issues related to issues such as sewage spills.
Water Testing. Nova regularly evaluates drinking water sources for contaminants such as lead, copper, pesticides, volatile organic compounds and/or biolgoical agents.
